FMC WECO STYLE HAMMER UNIONS
Hammer unions, also called wing unions, are one of the most common connection types in oil and gas industry as its reliable, heavy-duty, high-pressure for flow lines at drilling sites. They are recommended to be used for cementing, fracturing, acidizing, testing and choke and kill lines, well test piping lines up to 15000psi to run water, oil or mud.

WECO Hammer Union Seals
Lip type seal ring is an elastomer component, as a secondary seal to protect metal-to-metal against corrosion, which minimizes fluid flow turbulence while creating a pressure seal. Depending on the union figure it can be a lip type “seal ring” or an “O-ring”. Different material s are available to suit for different fluid service. Buna-N (NBR) is common for standard service, Viton (FKM) for H2S service.
